On the occasion of the commemoration of National Migration Day, Mr. Adel Talbi, Ambassador of Algeria to Budapest, hosted a meeting with newly arrived Algerian students for the 2026–2027 academic year.

During the meeting, he learned about their experiences joining Hungarian higher education institutions and listened to their concerns and questions, reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to accompanying and supporting them throughout their academic journey.

The Ambassador also encouraged the students to represent Algeria in the best possible manner within their university communities through hard work, academic excellence, and active participation in various scientific and cultural activities.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and advice with former Algerian students, as well as an intervention by a representative of the Association of Algerians in Hungary, focusing on ways to support new students and facilitate their integration into their university and social environment, thereby strengthening the spirit of solidarity and cooperation within the Algerian community.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ambassador wished the students continued success and achievement throughout their university studies.
