On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, and in an atmosphere of joy, affection, and solidarity, the Embassy of Algeria in Budapest organized a reception to exchange greetings in honor of the Algerian community residing in Hungary, which saw a significant turnout from our dear fellow citizens.
On this occasion, Mr. Adel Talbi, Ambassador of Algeria to Budapest, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the members of the national community, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering a spirit of solidarity and brotherhood among Algerians. He also reaffirmed the embassy's ongoing commitment to providing the best possible care for the community's concerns, as well as ensuring guidance and support for Algerian students pursuing their university studies in Hungary.
During the celebration, the Ambassador honored Professor Dr. Benyoucef Chettih, a professor of higher education at the University of Laghouat, who was hosted to lead the prayers during the month of Ramadan, in recognition of his valuable efforts through lectures aimed at introducing the Algerian religious reference.
