The Embassy of Algeria in Budapest commemorated the 65th anniversary of the popular demonstrations of 11 December 1960, under the slogan “People’s Uprising.”
The commemoration programme included:

• the raising of the national flag, accompanied by the national anthem;

• the recitation of Al-Fatiha;

• the observance of a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of our noble martyrs;

• as well as the delivery of a speech on this occasion.
