Commemoration of the 63 nd anniversary of Victory Day 1962 - 2025

The Embassy of Algeria in Budapest commemorated Victory Day on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, marking the 63rd anniversary of the ceasefire of March 19, 1962. This historic day witnessed the beginning of a new era for a people determined to remain free, having made immense sacrifices to impose their will and achieve independence.
The commemoration included the raising of the national flag, the playing of the national anthem, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of our valiant martyrs and their sacrifices, which will remain forever engraved in gold in the hearts of future generations.
