The Algerian Association in Hungary celebrates the 70th Anniversary of the November 1, 1954 Revolution

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the blessed Liberation Revolution, and under the slogan "Glorious November, Loyalty, and Renewal," the Algerian Association in Hungary, in collaboration with the Algerian Embassy in Hungary, organized a celebration on November 9, 2024, in an atmosphere of joy, brotherhood, and pride for this cherished anniversary.

In his speech at the event, His Excellency Mr. Abdelhafid Alahoum, Ambassador of Algeria, highlighted the sanctity of the Algerian struggle and the role of the Algerian people in embracing the Liberation Revolution, citing the famous words of the martyr Larbi Ben M'hidi: "Throw the revolution into the street, and the people will embrace it."

His Excellency also encouraged members of the national community to instill the principles of the Liberation Revolution in the younger generation, to strengthen their sense of belonging to the homeland, and to encourage them to contribute to its development and growth. Several cultural competitions on Algerian history and heritage were organized during the event, with symbolic prizes awarded to the winners.
